I would check that petrol has not been fuelled instead of diesel, my wife did that and swore blind she didn't, your symptoms sound similar |

Is their not an anti fuelling device built into the filler, prevents you from filling with petrol,, tried it once with mine and it closed off the filler immediately, I got about 16p worth of petrol in it.

I'm sure the turbo has gone...the inlet hose is full of oil.

It can be done but is "a " apparently. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Commiserations. My SDV6 did both turbos a year ago. I remember the thread referred to but in my case/maybe for SDV6's the view was body off. So had a service and both the belts done same time. Also, while it might be possible to save a few quid using rebuilt or exchange turbos wouldn't recommend it, better to bite the bullet and fit new.

done some more work today, stripped the passenger wheel and took the lower inter-cooler pipe off...See the video:

Ok, today I managed to get the passenger side turbo off the car without removing the body...

Today's work cut short by weather, but good news is that the new turbo is now back in!! It's always quicker putting stuff back together.

Ok, I've been a little worried about what caused this to fail in the first place so I've done some digging and I think I may have found a possible cause.
