Does anyone out there have a service plan package with their RR Sport?

Is it worth it if you only plan to keep the vehicle for 3 years and do under 36k?


Dealership swears blind by it as the maintenance package also covers tyres and brake pads at £50 per month but I am not convinced.


Surely first couple of services from new shouldn't be that expensive, or is it?

My 10p’s worth.

Just chopped back my 16MY AB @ 34,000 mls.

£725 service plan has covered three services @ £360 each invoice - so “winning” however, the dealer “bought back” the remainder of the plan and intermediate oil changes changes were covered under “goodwill” as well. Original Pirelli tyres still@ 5mm tread.

Just bought new AB and service plan @ £825 as no more goodwill on intermediate oil changes after MY18 and I’ll probably keep this one longer than 3yrs.

Both plans include free fluid top-ups for things like ad-blue.

I put money into a Car Account” each month to cover tyres, brakes, exhaust etc on any of my cars rather than give it Land Rover “on the off chance”. £50 over 36months is £1800 - a set of tyres are £700 and brakes £300 (if you need them) otherwise the cash is yours!

It’s your call - but that’s my offering!
