Tachometer Needle Light Flickering

The tachometer needle light on my 2010 TDV8 has just started to flicker. All other lights on the instrument display are working fine. Is it a simple case of of pulling out the instrument cluster and checking a bulb or is it something more complex?

The needle is lit by an LED. It is this that fails, and eventually, will stop illuminating altogether

No idea if they can be repaired, I've only heard of a new IPC being fitted

Mines been doing that for a while now,, i've tended to forget about it. It's quite a common fault but their are places that repair and even customise them, normally around the £150 mark but unless you live local you would have to send them the cluster
Do a search on Google for instrument cluster repair and you will find a few options. 2010 RRS, TDV8
bali Blue / colour coded
side steps / flappy paddles
black perforated leather
22" overfinch
heated everything, TV,fridge ...... now with gold calipers and mud flaps !( black mud flaps that is) !!
Many years ago,,,,, 1955 series 1 landie , sometimes wish I had kept it
