Warranty Direct seems to get the heads up from members on here,,don’t take LR extended warranty as I’m sure it doesn’t cover anything. Andy.

Agreed! Don’t take the LR extended warranty. They will use every excuse not to cover any problems.

LR wouldn’t even cover a £12.08 door cap even though it’s a known problemwheni lost one the other week. Andy.

LR extended warranty have covered plenty in my experience. Turbos, starter motor, compressor, alternator, differential etc. So basically all of the big stuff that one would want covered.

I doubt anyone would cover a bit of loose trim. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

LR extended is just car care uk ? So it would be best to go direct to them ? As they make it for LR

I'll get a quote from both see difference

Would they cover a whining diff or gearbox ? If they went wrong ? For instance

Ok think I'm going to go with Motoreasy.com

Going for the top A package

Means works are carried out at any LR dealership

The package is all mechanical and electrical parts covered also built in is wear and tear parts also

So basically all covered

12 months £890. 24 months £1500

Plus you can stagger payment over 8 months if you need to

So seems like a good deal ??

England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

I just renewed my LR Extended Warranty because it paid out more than triple the original cost of the policy last year. I personally cant be bothered with having to pay for the work to be done, to then have to claim it back later like some of these companies do. If my car breaks down i get assistance and recovery to LR Dealer, and usually a nice shiny new LR product free of charge while my car is off the road.

When you work out the price of renting a RRS for say a week or 2 while your vehicle is off the road, and take that into account it doesn’t make other warranties seem that much more attractive price wise. Just my personal opinion of course Thumbs Up 2003 BMW M5 - 5 Litres of V8 Optimax Slurping Goodness in Carbon Black

England 2011 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

LR extended warranty guys all the way. One phone call to them. Sit back and let them do the rest. Mind you, this is the first time I have had to deal with them and so far brilliant. LR technician told me they give the main dealer two days to sort out the problem and it starts costing the dealer money. Which means they pull out all the stops to fix the problem. Also a hire car when yours is being sorted. It is the most expensive warranty but you can pay it over the year with no extra. MY11 Autobiography supercharged. Santorini Black. Monaco interior. Rear screens. Privacy.
Gone MY08 Supercharged HST. Java black. Ivory premium interior. Rear screens. Privacy. Missed a lot.
Gone MY04 Discovery V8 Petrol ES Premium. Awesome.

[quote="Buckster"]I just renewed my LR Extended Warranty

Interesting, I did not know you could renew the LR Extended warranty..I might have kept my Sport a tad longer had I been able to do this. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
