United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Heating help Please

Hi

I have a 2010 TDV6 and during the winter have kept the temp at 22 on the auto function on both sides. Today was a little warmer, so turned it down to 19. Now from experience with other models with the auto function the fan would kick in and you could feel cooler air out of the vents until 19 had been reached. With the RRS the fans did not kick in. Turned down to 17 nothing, 16 nothing, to low and the fans turned on full. As soon as I turned it up to 16 the fans cut off.

Is this normal? The air was cold, but it did not seem gradual. Can anyone offer an insight?

Thanks 2010 3.0 TDV6 RRS Overfinch GTS

It is normal, on auto the fans will not kick in fully untill the engine has warmed. Enables the engine to warm quicker, rather than blasting cold air into the cabin. Once the engine/matrix can provide heat, the fans speed up to circulate warm air. MY12 RRS HSE
