Spare wheel query

I have a 2007 tdv8 Sport, without a spare wheel .. A couple of nights ago I hit a brick (or something) in the gutter .. It did damage the tyre but it has stayed inflated.

Made me think, though .. if it had burst, Not only would I have had to call assistance, but (being at night) where would they have got a replacement .........

So now looking at getting a spare wheel .. Somewhere, I think I have read that a full 20" wheel can't go up into the carrier, and that I should have a Space Saver .. Is this correct, please? Green Top Rangey Bloke now, but still Disco Kid at heart

Spain

20 inch will fit Thumbs Up however you can see more of the wheel/tyre when viewed from behind, as a full size tyre is somewhat wider than a space saver. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

Hi,
depending what you want the spare to do Question

just be a get you home spare or another wheel same size and pattern as on the car to be matching, you could get a 19" or a space saver, as long as the overall circumference is the same and they may well be cheaper to purchase,
even seen the savers for "Free".

there is a danger of it becoming a habit Rolling Eyes

Thumbs Up

As long as it will go up into the recess, I don't mind it being a bit visible ..

Not keen on the space saver .. I want something I can fit if necessary, and take my time replacing the original ..

I will look to getting a full sized rim and put the best tyre of those currently on the motor onto it ..

Thanks for your advice .. Green Top Rangey Bloke now, but still Disco Kid at heart
