Hi

I am getting a regular clicking (every 3 seconds or so) from one of the boxes on the floor under the driver's seat. The clicking conitinues even after the key is removed. It sounds very much like a relay.

Three questions:

1 What are the two big boxes under the seat?
2 Has anyone else encounterd this?
3 Any ideas for a fix?

It is a 2006 HSE complete with all the nomal problems (compressor, warning lights, etc etc).

Under your seat is the stereo AMP and under the passenger's is the DVD for SatNav. Normally its the SatNav that makes and continues to make the noise.

There is also the memory seat module which I think could be the cause.

I had the same noise on my 08 RRS. It was the seat memory module. I unplugged it and then plugged it back in 30 minutes later. It’s been fine ever since 2006 LR3 HSE
