The only things that come to mind are: does the car sit around for a good while. Tyre pressures kept in check and lastly how old are the tyres. You say 2 years (since fitted?) but if you look on the side of the tyre there are four digits which is the week & year they were constructed.

First of all did you get them from a reputable tyre company.? if yes then they will have a guarantee against anything going wrong with them,go back to who you bought them from & they will remove them & send them back to supplier for them to check that their isn't or is a fault with the tyre,,if their is a fault then they will exchange them for new ones. Andy.

Many thanks both. The 4 digits are 4416, so late 2016. It is used daily so doesn't sit.

Should still be in warranty with it being a 2016 tyre. They will check it to see if they was a bag batch of tyres supplied at the time,,Im guessing the tyre came through the Micheldever tyre supplier as they are the main Buyer/Distributor of General tyre. You could also message Andy from AJS Tyres as im sure he is a site sponser on here & he is a main fitting agent for General Tyres. Andy.
