I have an mot due in a few weeks and wondered whether there was any advantage to taking it to the main dealer? My car is under approved used warranty which I have a vague memory has some kind of MOT cover? Take it to a local place,,if you take it to main dealers & it fails they will only say that the failed item is wear & tear & not covered.Mine also as the approved ins cover but I tested mine myself. Andy.
