Wouldn't touch it! The AA would've had a good idea as to why they couldn't fix it! You wouldn't just go out buy a new car without getting somebody to look at it first!! I'd say that he does know whats wrong and just isn't telling could because its a very expensive fix!

Anyone who can do that to a car obviously has no moral compass and will do anything to hide the truth, which IS what he is doing. He will know full well what the problem is and he himself is a complete tw for doing what he is doing.
Could be a good idea just for fun for somebody with a bt IID tool to go round and plug it in and report back  Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

ok, lets assume he has transferred the plate to his new motor, aside from the styling faux pas, it's got a full service history , so when running and approaching standard trim........what's it worth???

Cheapest on ebay is 10k

Pistonheads is 12.5k

So using the cheapest on ebay as a guide......3.5k difference......i know we don't know the problem with this one but that gives quite a bit of cash to repair it.......what do you think????
