Rusty Nuts!

The first photo is the condition on the wheel nuts after 2 years, pretty tatty for such an expensive car!

I decided to treat myself to a new set of “Wrington” stainless steel wheel nuts. They really are a thing of beauty! I would recommend getting a good quality socket, I bought the Sealey one in the photo and it worked perfectly - don’t use a 15 point socket. I made sure they were torqued up to the 140Nm recommended in the manual.

The polished ones are £220 for a set of 20, I don't use the locking wheel nuts so I needed 5 for each wheel.

Thanks for the tip Tyre Fitter, I checked the torque after 50 miles and they were all still holding at 140Nm.

Tidy I’ve just bought me a new set as mine have gone The same a good quality socket is a good idea though 👍
