Has anyone fitted the GT Radial Adventuro AT3: https://www.twt.co.za/gt-radial-265-50r20-111t-xl-adventuro-at3?

In size 265/50R20, they are less than 1/2 the price of the Pirelli ATRs, massive difference for a set of 4. --

Go for best you can afford

Don’t go cheap, tyres andbrakes should always be the best - after all you want the grip and the ability to stop when you need.

Does anyone notice an increase in road noise when using the budget tyres?

Mine has conti's on but they have Censored all tread on the outside edge from new and the fronts are about due to be changed so I've been looking at the General Grabber GT's as a replacement. Have many people used these and are they any good before I go ahead and buy a set ?

My tyres are a 40 profile and not 50.... meaning the rolling circumference is different? Will the speedo be out by much?

What size alloys have you got.? 255/55r19’s are similar rolling circumference to 275/40r20’s. Andy.

255/50/19 would be the correct size to give a circumference difference of 1%. 255/55/19 are about 4-5% bigger. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I have just replaced 3 Pirelli Scorpion 22” tyres with Landsail as this was what the seller fitted to replace a worn tyre prior to me please picking up the car when I purchased it. Very pleased so far. Pushing the car through bends, I have no issues. In fact the seats are not supportive enough to hold me in place. They are fine. With hardbraking too. They get my thumbs up. 2010 3.0 TDV6 RRS Overfinch GTS

Watch the landsails for odd things happening. I know that’s vague but I had them on another model car and after a while I got vibrations and odd feedback through the steering wheel. I know it sound odd but I couldn’t put my finger on what exactly was wrong, re-balancing lasted a week max before the weirdness returned. If I didn’t know better, I’d say the wheels where spinning inside the tyre if that makes sense. I had new tyres fitted (similar price) and problem solved. They weren’t a bad tyre for grip, they just didn’t appear to last the way I would have liked. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
