Classic colours can look good on newer cars if the rest of the car matches or has a contrast. I have always loved British Racing Green and I think it suits any car if the rest of vehicle suits it. By that I mean, modern cars have a lot of gloss black whereas cars of the 70s had a lot of chrome etc. Im not sure of gold on a RRS but having not seen one, I couldn't say for sure. If he wants a colour change, maybe he should pick a more up to date colour such as the Estoril Blue or one of the grey shades. It may even help a little with value over a 1970s gold!! 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

One of RRS’s rarest colours and very short lived was Maya Gold. A guy in the village I live in had one and it was extremely difficult to sell on even though it was a standard colour, nobody wanted a Gold RRS. There was one in one of the early Pierce Brosnan Bond movies 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Nara Bronze for me too Chris. I think it looks great and seems to suit the big LRs well. |
