Hello again - all I have done since joining this (brilliant) forum is ask dumb questions about parts or faults for my 2008 L320... and this thread is exactly the same thing... sorry!

Considering the latches tend to become unreliable with age and are fiddly to replace I would advise against fitting a used part.

What confuses me is the sheer volume of parts that >LOOK< identical, but probably aren't... the following (part numbers copied from the link above) appear on eBay as new parts, ranging from £20 up to £80 for what appears to be the same thing!

It looks very much like the only differences are the price - I think I'll play it safe with the OEM in the first link, it'll be thgarage doing the fiddling for me... |
