The first time I needed to fold the seats down I can’t !!

Xmas day I needed to fold the back seats down to take the grandchildren’s presents over to them but whilst I had no trouble folding down the single seat (split single / Two seats) I could not fold down the double seat. On the single seat there was a handle to pull which released the seat. There was no handle on the larger seat which it what I think is the problem.

Is there any change one of you kind 2011 owners would mind taking a photo of the underside of the double seat so I know what I’m dealing with or if anyone has a solution I would be externally grateful.

Should be exactly same as single seat, small strap between base cushion and back of seat to pull and release cushion, then release back section using lever in top of seat. I'm inclined to think that the release strap for the cushion has either broken or been trapped under base when previously used. If I remember right there is a bit sewn to the base the strap should thread through so it doesn't get stuck underneath.

To ensure that the pull strap doesn't slip back out of sight, there is a small fabric guide on the back of the seat. Thread the pull strap through the guide and the pull strap will always be in the correct place.
