As much as it pains me to say, I can't even match the service plan prices over 3 years |

Oh yes and as Scrumps says you sell it on to the next owner as it lives with the car after you sell it, up to the end of the contract. When I sold my car to the Mini dealer their in house LR franchise made a point of asking if the car had a service plan and I had two services remaining on it. Doesn’t mean to say that they told the person that purchased the car as an approved used vehicle though......... and it wouldn’t have helped with the car having a change of plate when I took my private plate off it as the car was first registered with my private plate...... 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

When I bought my SC I only found out it had 2 services remaining is because I found the previous owner on Facebook & he mentioned it to me,when I called the dealer who I purchased it from he wasn't happy because he said their admin should have checked that out & if they knew it had services remaining it would have been more money,,,,unlucky LR & im now about £1000-£1200 beter off,the last service I took it in for was the big one with the fluid changes. Doesn't apply to OP but just remember that there is also a 60k mileage limit – it never registered with me even though I knew I'd be doing a lot of miles. After its fourth service it was a real shock when they wouldn't give me my car back until I got my credit card out and especially annoying as the mileage was approx 62k (though service centre did say they would have taken it at 59,999 if I'd known about it).

If the car is new you should get the 5 year service pack thrown in with the deal. I have not paid for service packs on 2 x Evoques and 2 x RRS. They were always included as, good will, JLR incentive, dealer incentive whatever. 2018 MY19 HSE Dynamic, Santorini, Ebony/Ivory, Sliding pano, Adaptive cruise, Black wheels. Arrived 3rd September 2018 2015 MY16 HSE Dynamic, Santorini, ebony/cirrus, sliding pano, cameras, black wheels - Arrived 1 October 2015 |

I’ve got mine through a private lease so much less scope for that sort of thing. There was only a very little negotiating on the lease costs, no trade-in or scope for pushing for other “freebies” and I didn’t even deal with the local dealer until the car arrived. Still, as I wouldn’t be keeping a RRS after its warranty expires, the up side is the lease is cheaper than a PCP and still protects me against the risk of tumbling resale values of diesel vehicles over the next 3 years! |

Cheapest plan out of warranty is "do it Yourself". I am well pleased with service cost in Australia only 250 pounds per service so far. M16 SVD8 ,4.4 HSE with a few extras, Sold R50 , Wife SQ5 , BMW R1200GSW. |
