My RRS has an intermittent problem with the Nav Screen. At its worst its impossible to read (see video )

Sometimes it appears OK but the "Agree" button doesn't work so you can't get to the maps. And sometimes it all works perfectly. Any ideas? Would a new map disc sort it? It appears to be something to do with the boot up of the system. Does the disc have any boot up instructions on it that could be corrupted??? Robin

If the 4x4 info display also has the problem, then you need a new display unit.


If its only the Nav that has the problem, then check the video cable between the display (connector on passenger side) to under the passenger seat. (you can see the connector from the back seat)

Definitely looks like a hardware or wiring problem, a new satnav disc won't fix that.
