Premium black colours for SVR

Subjective I know, but are the premium Ligurian or Borealias colours worth it over the normal satorini black,

I am putting my order in for a premium paint and I have a friend with the Ligurian black (i’ve Not seen the car), but he is unconvinced.

Just wondered if anyone else who has ordered the premium feels the same way?[/i] Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black

Hi Netsters I looked into this before ordering mine.

I think Phil on here has a friend with a Ligurian Black Svr and there are a couple on here with the Borealis Ultra.

Imo the Borealis is full of flake and very nice but it's not Black.

Between Ligurian and Santorini the fact that the later is free is unbelievable as when cleaned and waxed imo this is the best Black paint i have had on any black car and i nearly always have black cars.

Santorini Black is just stunning, loads of multicolored speckles in the paint. SVR 2018 in Santorini Black.

i have the Borealis Ultra (June'18 ) and love it…its not jet black, due to the metal flakes and changes colours (grey/black etc) in various sunlight…stunning when sun is directly on it … IMO Smile

Thanks SVR575, I am going to see if I can get my friend with the Ligurian SVR to get it out of storage so I can take a proper look. Amazing that dealers do not have at least a sizeable piece of material in the colours so you know what you are getting.

The colour swatches they have are like trying to pick a wall paper for your whole house from something the size of a postage stamp!

AlfOCR, very very nice. I have actually put my order through today with in a borelias black, I have a couple of weeks to decide if I am changing that to the santorini or not. Hopefully be able to have seen a few in the flesh by then Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black
