A new one -AdBlue issues
Have discovered today an issue with Halfords AdBlue and JLR vehicles.
Some people have been having "incorrect fluid detected - no engine restart in 500 miles" type error messages, when using Adblue from Halfords. And large bills from their JLR dealers to fix it.
Having googled a bit, this has been going on for a while, but it is totally unclear if the Halfords fluid is at fault (and it must come form the same source as any other retailers) or if there really is a Halfords/JLR compatibility issue.
Anyway, no doubt we will be hearing more of this................seems to be 4 cyl Ingeniums so far.

So now that they have denied that consumption of Adblu is an issue for the Ingenium engines JLR can also now deny that the same engine won’t run on the discount brands but only o their expensive own label stuff............ thank goodness I have a petrol engine as well as a back-up that will only fail when the nation’s lights go out.....2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
