I used to get this from time to time in my Jag XJ TDV6, I changed the Battery and this stopped it for a while. After it happened with the new battery I used to put it on charge regularly and that seemed to reduce it. 2016 Black SDV8 Autobiography

We had a similar problem with a Customers D3 ended up being the fuse next to the battery + terminal. The wire had rubbed through on the engine block and shorted blowing the fuse. I hope this might set you in the right direction 2008 G4 RRSport TDV8 current
