Had this problem when a Blackvue front and rear dash cam set was professionally installed. Had it removed and replaced by the same installers with a Thinkware set. Problem solved. Blackvue was causing very excessive battery drain for some unknown reason and had same issue with two Blackvue replacements for the original one. |

I have the Blackvue and haven't had any issues until now. Was also surprised that after 1 hour 45 minutes driving that the battery would then flash up as being low. Figured it would recharge during that time. Thanks. Will unplug the camera from the fuses in the boot and see if that changes the situation. Although Murphy's law would entail that is when something will happen and a camera would have been useful. 2019 RRS P400e Autobiography 2014 RRS 3.0 TDV6 HSE Dynamic 2006 RRS 2.7 TDV6 HSe Alfa Romeo Guillietta 2.0 JTDM 2011 Mazda 3 1.6 2010 Subaru Impreza 2.0 WRX 2005 |
