I must say that when faced with recent motorway disruption, I have loaded Waze and Google maps on two iphones and compared it with the onboard LR system. Much of the time they are the same, but occasionally they all take alternate diversions. Waze has twice taken me down tiny little country lanes that have resulted in me getting stuck due to other traffic being routed the other way (last time I was at a standstill for 30 minutes due to a 1/4 mile section with no passing points and dozens of cars sat head to head in the middle). The LR alternative would have been much more useful and will be the one I follow next time. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB Evoque MY17 TD4 AB |
