It has brembo written on the caliper. I always thought the tdv8 had brembos as standard but may be wrong. |

TDV8 had Brembo four pot front brakes as standard. |

There are 5 options for wheel size for the TDV8 2007

The 18inch wheel won't fit over the Brembo brakes so that wheel size website is wrong there. (I had a look at the site and it even mentioned 17inch wheels for the TDV8!).

This is one of the OEM Wheels that will fit and also the smallest OEM wheel you can put on and clear the Brembos - my 2007 TDV8 shod with 19” Pirelli ice and Snow Tyres
I also offroaded the car in the snow and ice on those tyres in Keilder Forest IIRC these wheels were also available from Volvo from the old XC70 Cross Country 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it 2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced 2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW Last edited by Tim in Scotland on Sun Nov 04 2018 11:32pm. The other 19inch that fits the Brembos is this one (on my 08MY TDV8):
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

The only 18” that will fit is a Compomotive wheel that was originally especially made for the Bowler Nemisis RRS-a-like lightweight coupe - there are a couple of members here who gave managed to get hold sets of them for their RRS’s 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

On a similar subject, what is everyone's opinions on putting all terrain tyres on the 20" wheels? My only concern is the profile is still 40 🙄 |

You can fit 275/45 on 20 inch rims and that will give a bit more sidewall - only half an inch though. The 45 profile will probably have a higher load rating too but again, it's only a bit (usually 110 compared to 106 for the 40). 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
