It has happened to me a few times over the years.
I have the thought that if I was wearing a suit and talked with an accent like VA's that I would probably get more attention.

It's put on you know... he actually sounds like Jamie Oliver!

Not sure where you are in the EM, but I have had nothing but good sales and service from Stratstone in Nottingham. These Dealerships are only as good as the guys they employ who can make or break the dealership with either their pushy or couldnt give a t*** attitudes.

I went to the Stratstone dealership in Stoke when I was considering my purchase because they had the one I want in the showroom. I looked it over to death and still none of the 'salesmen' approached me. ' ' I thought and ordered one from Nottingham.

Oh and as for Porsche dealerships.........I would never buy one because of the 'up themselves' attitude of the salesmen........been serious shopping for a Porsche twice and twice I have walked away vowing never ever to consider buying one again. The result was a TT and latterly a Z4 which 'The Boss' indoors still has and loves.

Stuart TDV6, HSE, Giverney Green/Ivory, Tints, Sidesteps, Sunroof, Towbar and Cycle Carrier, Tasmods Sills, Bluetooth and big smile!

I have had the exact opposite from Stratstone Nottingham although to be fair the initial cost of the car was good.

Isn't that where RRUK got his from? Or was it the same place as yours, MDP?
