I’ve read around and it seems the discovery 4 module is the better option than the lr factory kit.
I’d really like to have a retrofitted option over an aftermarket one but if the cost seriously outweighs the benefits it might be the way I have to go, seems there’s some knowledgeable people on here who provide the service so any help/advice would be appreciated.

Not worth the money.

IMHO - chenge the head unit for something with an inbuilt BT parrot kit. I got this and a new the amp fitted for around the same price as just adding a BT module to the Fisher Price original head unit.

Why spend that much money putting old tech in?

I did it years ago, and still very glad I did.

It’s mainly for music I just like the idea of it been “as factory” and depending on the cost I wouldn’t have minded much. Do you have a link to the one you bought? I’ll have a look through your posts now, cheers!
