2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Quite a few down in the sub-tropical central belt Lindab, must be those harsh cold east coast winds putting off buyers up there - I even saw the rare sight of one with the roof down in Stirling this afternoon! In this part of the country Evoque Convertablrs are much more common than Velars.
I wonder what made JLR think that their “ Road Rover” exercise would ever sell - that sort of vehicle is best left to Jaguar although Jaguar do seem to be out Land Rovering Land Rover with the F-Pace and E Pace 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Correct Tim

If JLR have the E-Pace, built on the Evoque/DS platform, why can’t LR sell their equivalent... Confused

A luglio mi son invaghito della VELAR; ho trovato una First Edition a poco meno di 90k€ con 10k km circa;
Al momento di concretizzare qualcosa non mi ha convinto e a settembre ho preso una RRS.
Sono sempre più convinto che ho fatto la scelta giusta. Audi Q5 3.0 TDI AllRoad

Thanks, Avon. I put your comment through an Italian to English translator and got:

“In July, I fell in love with the VELAR; I found a First Edition for less than €90k with around 10k km;
but during finalisation of the deal, they did not convince me and in September I have taken a RRS instead.
I am more and more convinced that I made the correct choice.”

Yes, and if turns out like this:

People will complain and tell us it looks like a Suzuki Jimny

I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

At least the next Jimny will still look like like a tough 4x4 -to me it looks like a scaled down Jeep Renegade......

I think I would have the Jag version over the LR version of this car - the Jag looks better as the Velar just looks a bit weird. The F Pace looks more proportioned and I think is a bit cheaper.

True on both accounts. When I swapped from RRS to F-Pace I priced up the difference on the same spec. The F-Pace was £11,000 cheaper, plus Jaguar gave me £1,000 more on the trade in on my RRS over Land Rover (same dealership)! I too prefer the style of the F-Pace to the Velar which looks like a mutant version of the RRS to me!

I agree with Jock.. I looked at a Velar, a lot more money for not much more car. Have to admit, air suspension was nice, however soon got use to not having it.
My F Pace is only a 4 pot Diesel, but it is just as quick as my Sport, (does not have the torque though) however, it burns a lot less fuel, plus it handles really well.
Thumbs Up In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
