Just picked the car up and noticed that the tyre valve caps weren’t fitted - seller (specialist 4x4 dealer) is going to spot them. The Tyre pressure monitor has alarmed and asked us to check the tyre pressures, one tyre is new and the others have been removed to refurbish the wheels prior collection. Is this likely as the tyre pressure valves aren’t fitted and once fitted will the system just need a reset?

What do you mean by the tyre valves aren’t fitted,the tpms should be a alloy valve,has yours just got rubber valves fitted.?.When the tpms are re-fitted they will program themselves once you set off in the car.

Yes they have rubber valves fitted - so I guess this is causing the computer to not detect pressure and hence the warning light.
The TPMS are being sent. So when fitted all should be ok?
