DVD system

I finally collect my RRS on saturday, 07 model.

Does anybody know if the dvd system can be coded to region free??

I was supposed to get it in July, but it has been delayed until now because of the model chages. At least that's what the dealer told me

my 07MY was put back until October as I was told the 06MY vehicle build was continuing a little longer

Hi guys, it sounds as though the dealer might have it wrong, near enough all 06MY's are built the last ones are coming off the line now and hitting the dealers, so yes yours will be an 07MY but you will probably looking to take delivery in the 2nd to 3rd week of October, plus the price increase if its a HSE or price decrease if its a Supercharged and spec decrease S/C, its amazing when you have inside sources!!!!

2006 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

07 Models have now landed at dealerships. Slightly different design wheel for TDV6 HSE is the most obvious chenge along with different speedo pack and a brighter silver on the various knobs etc. Seen a few passing a London dealer. TDV8 HSE in Java/Ebony with Zebrano Wood, RSE, Hybrid TV, and a few other bells and whistles.

Getting back to your original question - I don't have the answer but I've checked the usual places where I have found hacks for all the DVD players I have. I've hacked a couple of portable players also...since there is a remote for the system, it might be possible. You'd need to know the manufacturer and the specific model number...as in, open up the little cubby in the luggage area and see if you can read a label or logo. 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

Only one way to hack the DVD changer

I have modified 5 RRFF dvd changers, its modifying the inside of it, change a chip and it will be now region free! They are ntsc and Pal, auto select!
Prices is around 500 to 600 dollars!
I paid it!
