djb222, That looks like an interesting restoration on the Lotus Elan (S4?) hope you are going to give a step by step account of your progress. Back in the early 70's I had an Elan Sprint in the JPS colours, then a Europa twin cam in the same yellow as your Elan and I added genuine Minilite magnesium wheels Nothing could beat them for speed or road holding & contrary to the myths, mine were pretty reliable. Brings back happy memories |

Thanks for that David, I will certainly check out your channel. I loved these cars in the days before cameras & speed guns. You only got stopped if the police were behind you & they were usually very far behind you |
