WHAT TO DO WITH MY RRS???

Hi All,

Just want to know what people’s opinions are on mods to the L320, what’s worth doing, what’s not worth doing etc.

Thinking of doing the tailgate conversion, rear autobiography bumper, colourcode plastics, black lettering, black grille, diamond-cut alloys and potentially are-map with exhaust system if it’s worth it?

Info on Re-Mapping and exhaust system would be much appreciated as I’m finding it hard to gather info on decent maps.

Car - 2010 RRS HSE 3.0 TDV6

Remap - BAS (Bell Auto Services) or Alive Tuning.

All the other stuff? Yeah, if you think it's worth the money. Me? I'd save the cash to spend on the keeping the oily bits happy. After all, bodywork doesn't go wrong and doesn't leave you sat at the side of the road waiting for recovery... Rolling with laughter

Bear in mind that mods won't add value come sales time. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I’ve done a few simple MODs on mine but mostly it’s been a case of replacing tatty parts that are tired after 6 years, the seat base being a prime example and trim clips being another. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

First job colour code the drab grey door handles, if they haven't been done already. Thumbs Up

Thank you all for the input, appriciate it.

What sort of figures and performance change are we talking with a re-map on one of these and any recommendations on an exhaust system? Also does anyone have any input on whether it is worth pollybushing the entire car?

I’ve got the oily bits covered, helps being in the maintenance trade and saves me some pennies Bow down Rolling with laughter

Thanks for that my seats seem to be in really good condition, the car has only covered 56,000 so it’s pretty clean.

Door handles are on my to do list, would you recommend painting them or replacing the covers?

Motor looks lovely now, does make a hell of a difference doesn’t it! I want to try and get my hands on a set of those 22” turbine alloys but they’re fetching a pretty penny Confused

I must say that it looks very nice as it is. Nice colour, the dark door bottoms, handles and wing intakes break up the side nicely. Never been a fan of that particular wheel design by LR as i's a bit "busy" for my tastes, but other than that, a nice looking RRS. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

I like it is to, perhaps gloss black handles, vents and grill would look good but certainly a good looking motor as it is.

It’s personal preference but I’ve never liked wood on modern cars. Piano black finishers look good but as yours has a black interior, perhaps brushed aluminium or carbon fibre would look good. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Going to continue to look up some information about Maps. I’m going to weigh up the pro’s and cons of the mods I was thinking of, for starters I’ll just Black the grille, door handles, lettering and side vents then.

LCD is missing? On this picture ive switched the centre screen off, no difference in the other LCD screens when compared to a friend of mines RRS.
