Been meaning to pick your Brains on this one. I can't really find the answer !

When the SDV6 Hybrid was launched it came with 340hp and 700nm of torque. I assume the SDV6 in it at the time pre Addblue was the 292bhp version.

Then when the Addblue system came in around September 2015 as you know the standard SDV6 got a boost in power to 306bhp.

The Hybrid's then also had a power boost which took them to 354bhp with the combination of the electric motor of course. They also have the Addblue system. So I was wondering the Hybrid's after or around September 2015 must have the 306hp SDV6 in them.

My March 2016 Hybrid on its spec sheet states it has 354hp and 700nm of torque. Strange how the horse power went up but the torque stayed the same.

Just curious of any more information on this data I know so far my self.

I’m sure you can also get the 306 in none adblue in th pre 16 models.correct me if I’m wrong but adblue was in the my16.5.The adblue was introduced to bring the emissions down & not to take the power up.

Yes, my March 2015 SDv6 HSE Dynamic was 306bhp with no Adblu system. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

As an aside a 2012 MY SDV6 tuned by Alive goes from around 256 BHP to just over 300 BHP so the engine is good for it.

When I was looking at hybrids I found mostly 340hp untill around 65 plate models which were 354hp.
But as you say some hybrids which are the 354hp version on 65 plates don't have the Addblue system.
Mine I'm afraid being a MY16 plate has the Addblue rubbish !! But on the plus side my road tax is only £170 a year without the Addblue I think it's around £230.
