No camera then no tow assist if you don't have a reverse camera or surround camera's then don't think you will have it |

I had it on my 2010 FFRR TDv8 but no surround cams, then in my 2011 and 2014 Evoques too but it may have been an optional extra on non-UK cars as often these things are extra cost on cars with the same model designation but LHD. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thank you very much for the help. The problem that my range tdv6 2010 3.0 if it takes the surround 360 system of cameras but the function that in particular to see the trajectory to hook the trailer not ... |

Not sure how that works as according to my manual, the trailer electrics need to be hooked up for tow assist to activate. That screen shot may not be from a sport. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

I have surround cameras and tow assist on my RRS1, not the best pictures but here are some of my screen views without trailer fitted, unsure what changes when trailer and electrics fitted. Thought I read somewhere about having to fit two little reflective discs of some sort to either side of front of the trailer for something to work as well but that might have been if you have the trailer towing stability feature as well.

Do you have surround camera system fitted? if not then I don't think you will have the tow assist feature on a Sport. Cheers Col |

Post some photos of your screen views when you have the surround cameras activated, then we may have more idea to what features you have.

Found this lot just to confuse matters more, although this maybe referring to a RRS2 more as it mentions camera in tailgate handle, and also has more features than the RRS1 system which does not have the actual tow ball or yellow tow ball guidance line view/feature, probably as the camera is not in the centre of the vehicle on the RRS1 the only view is the same as the car being in reverse. So If I interpret my own car correctly although it has tow assist the RRS1 does not have the actual tow ball alignment feature included the same as the RRS2.
