Hi, I've got a 2007 tdv6 and noticed this morning that the revs are jumping slightly, probably only 200 or 300 rpm, under load.

From reading other posts it seems the torque converter is the likely cause? If it is do you think a mega flush would sort it or is a new one needed? If not the torque converter does anyone have any idea what else it could be. No relevant codes are showing and nothing coming up on the dash.

The rev jumping is caused by contamination of the clutch plates. Once this has happened, only a replacement clutch can properly sort it out. A flush should help to slow / prevent further contamination. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks for the quick reply, better start saving the pennies for a new Torque Converter then. Looking at the price it will need to be a re-conditioned one though!

People add a tube or 2 or doctor tranny while they save to get rid of the problem
