Door cappings faded?

Hi all, my drivers door capping looks like this. Shouldn’t it be the same colour all over?

Can’t, it’s a 2010 model. Doesn’t look right does it?

Scotland 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 Autobiography Firenze Red

I had an American conversion van full of wood trim which went like that and it eventually peels off. I reckoned at the time it was due to damp as I finally discovered the sunroof leaking, I should have fixed it sooner as I could see the windscreen steamed up each morning.

Have you any leaks or steamy windows (when not occupied Laughing ) 13MY Range Rover Sport Autobiography SDV6 - mine
14MY Range Rover Evoque Dynamic SD4 Black Pack - wife's

no.

but it maybe better to live with it, rather than fix it

I know in 2001 they had a problem with the wood processing in the factory, which led to that.
Maybe it happened again 9 years later Laughing

I don’t have any leaks at all. Are they easy to get off the door card?

I’d go for the Piano Black trim and change them. Easy to replace once the door card is off which itself isn’t to difficult to remove, just have a bag of plastic clips ready in case some break. Cheap enough on eBay. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Ok, cheers guys. I've bought an 'as new' set off ebay for £40 inc postage. Looked at the Piano black versions, but I don't think it would go with the cream leather. Dunno, it's a personal preference thing I suppose.

The Piano Black with Ivory was a Autobiography option and goes really well.

You’ll have all those changed out in less than hour. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)
