I bought a Clutch Claw lock that locks the brake and accelerator in a box. Also have a Stop Lock Pro on the steering wheel. Good luck to anyone who attempts to take off with the car. |

A pity RRS has an airbag in the steering wheel boss as I have recently had a detachable steering wheel and steering column boss lock fitted to my Defender. Once the steering wheel has been removed the orange swiveling/rotating aluminium boss cover is put on and locked in place. Low lifers cannot then try to steerit using a wrench as the boss is huge but also it sits on inaccessible frictionless bearings so turns at the lightest of touches. Only problem if you are parked in town you have to cart around a steering wheel with your shopping!

That is very much like the CAN-LOCK protection device from Blackbox Solutions, that was only Β£60.00 when I bought one over 3 years ago, admittedly never fitted it so not sure how effective it is. Not sure exactly how it works either, but as name implies when activated locks the can-bus system so diag. port can not read anything from the ECU's. Can be placed anywhere in the vehicle, but like anything else can eventually be by-passed I imagine.
