I had the same issue with my SVR - they said they wouldn’t be able to offer cover due to my age. |

Surely the dealer should sort the 7 day cover as part of their preparation for handing over the vehicle. WHy are you doing it? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

It’s always been the norm for me to complete the 7 day cover note? I thought it was a legal thing?

Seems to me that LR are working very hard at making their Approved Used vehicles pointless. Why pay the extra from a LR dealer when you can get the same vehicle cheaper elsewhere? The warranty seems to be growing holes in it cover and now the carry-over insurance doesn't want to play.

They are completely useless, I asked for the 7 day insurance a week in advance of picking the car up on a Sunday, was told it would be sorted on the day. Turned up, they couldn't get it to work online and the providers phone lines were closed on a Sunday. Cue sales guy doing a disappearing act while I spent an hour trying to find a reasonable insurance policy to drive away MY15.5 HSE - SDV6 - Santorini Black |

Had exactly the same issue. Advised the Stealership Sales Exc with no response other than “its complimentary so your not losing out”.... SORRY!?? ... ANOTHER quality customer services experience. |

Same with me, as car is over 100k they wouldn’t cover it, (stoopid) they at least offered the 1 day driveway insurance cover, which while it is something, does make me think it is a bit of a scam Range Rover Sport SVR - Santorini Black

They wouldn’t cover me at all after I’d had 5 people drive into my car, over the previous 5 years and around 185,000 miles, despite them all being paid out by the third parties’ insurers, without dispute A Fatty owner, just dropping by |

I am currently driving on the 7 day drive-away insurance, set it up on Tuesday cover note says from yesterday until next Thursday, yet if I look at the insurance database the registration is showing as uninsured. I have a copy of the cover note in the car just in case plod pulls me.
