Air con compressor removal - V8 Supercharged

Hi all, some advice please?
Me and a mate are looking to change my air con compressor on my truck soon. Can anyone give me some advice where to start in regards to access for removal and any problems/difficulties in getting this thing out.
The truck is a sport V8 Supercharged 2007 HST.
The air con was coming on and off last week, but now it won't come on at all and can't hear the clutch engaging/disengaging when I operate the switch.
I changed the condenser last year and had to take the front end off to get to it !!!!!!
Any tips would be appreciated. ๐Ÿ‘

download the workshop manual:

Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

System is full mate. It came back on last week when it was a little cooler, running for a week. This week it's on and off as the temp is a little hotter.
Can anyone tell me what is going on !!!!!!! Can't get my head around it. It's got to be a sensor or similar going down.

How do you know itโ€™s full I thought mine was until the Aircon guy came as mine was on and off there was only 50 grams in it enough to work it but not make it cold so if you havenโ€™t had it tested or if you can see what pressure is in the system itโ€™s either your gas or maybe your compressor Thumbs Up

Had 820g put in 6 weeks ago. Had it pressure tested and also the compressor checked out by an air con specialist. All working good.
I read somewhere on this forum about temperature sensors stopping the aircon and coolant fans and problems with other fans, But can seem to find it !!!!!!
Any suggestions? ๐Ÿ‘

I would ask the Aircon specialist guy then tell him itโ€™s stopped working can he come and tell you why not it may be easier as these cars are so sofisticated in the electronics Thumbs Up
