New (to me) 2013 RRS Question

Hello,

Just picked up a 2013 RRS this weekend for my wife. Loving it so far but have a question...what exactly is the purpose/use of this fake(?) dome light or vent in the headliner. As far as I can tell it's doing nothing. It's obviously not a light and I don't feel any air/ventilation coming out of it with the cooling system on. My guess is that possibly a higher trim level than my HSE lux may have a use for this opening and this was just a "plug". Any information would be appreciated!

I know the pictures aren't the best, but I figure you will know what I'm talking about anyway.

Thanks in advance!
