Reduced power message but no fault code!!?

Just bought an 06 RRS S/C from a dealer, love it. However, had the well known S/C water pump problem which stopped us from driving it home from the dealer.

New pump (wiring swap had been done in 2006), sorted.

Car delivered.

Took it out for a spin, reduced performance message. Code P0480.

Dropped it into a local Indy, fan not connected. Doh.

Sorted.

Took it for a spin this evening. Reduced performance message...! No warning light though. Pottered among, cleared itself.

Got home. Plugged OBD reader in, no stored or pending codes.

What!?? I don’t understand this? Surely it should have logged something??

Anyone here have anything similar?

Cheers
Simon

An OBD code reader will only read emissions related codes

For everything else, you need a dedicated diagnostic tool

Hmm it picked up the supercharger water pump code and the code for the fan circuit?
