Good question - if I had a L320 nearby I'd go & have a look - to be honest I don't know - I purchased a couple of sets & never used either. I have replaced bonnet & tailgate lettering before without a template - use low tack masking tape around the letters being removed but this only helps if the old ones are still on  16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............
