Hi guys
My steering wheel is off centre alittle to the right by about 8 degrees
Can I just adjust the tie rod ends to recentre it? If so which way do I turn them looking from front of car cheers

What I would do is centre the wheel (your wheels should now point left). Mark a white (or any colour really) line along the track rod onto the track rod end as a datum line. Then wind the left wheel (as you sit in the vehicle) track rod end inwards on the rod, counting the number of turns until the wheel is straight. Now repeat for the right wheel but screw the track rod end out the same number of turns. This should keep the tracking the same. I say should as adjusting over longer travel could change the tracking slightly. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Personally I would go for a 4 wheel alignment check...if your alignment is ok the garage dont normally charge, but seek confirmation of their policy. If you mention the steering wheel being off-centre they can correct this also. There maybe an adjuster like the LR Disco 2, maybe worth a check! Always good to have tracking checked regularly, save fuel and tyres

When I did mine like that it really was less than a quarter of a turn on each rod, so wouldn't get to carried away initially, to be fair can't remember exactly how far out mine was but enough to annoy me.

Could you just clarify looking from front of veichle (drivers wheel on left passenger on right has look at car) which way I need to turn into the track rod ends has someone has told me totally different to what's been said🙄

I set my front wheels straight ahead which left the steering wheel off centre, then shortend the n/side track rod and lengthend the o/side one by exactly the same amount untill the steering wheel was central, then drove car to check position when driving in straight line, might have to have a
couple of goes to get it spot on. If you go to far just lengthen the n/s and shorten the o/s, make sure its both rods by the same amount.

All I need to do now is loosen the 2 locking nuts which are stuck fast! Wd40 didn't shift them
Ok to heat them up Aslong has not near any rubber ?

Try Plus Gas, it's a penetrating fluid rather than lubricant such as WD40.

Mine were quite tight as well, but a couple of long 24mm (I think) spanners soon moved them. Just for info. also removed small clip on the rubber gaiter until finished adjusting so it found it's own natural position on the rod rather than leave it twisted.
