Seems odd ? RRS1 SDV6's were at around 255, so on face of it appears they are returning it to that state of tune. |

Maybe to reduce the strain on the crankshaft?

Is this a regional variation? LR's site for the UK only shows the 306bhp SDV6 in the RRS. There is a 275bhp version in the FFRR, however. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Hi, there was info on anther forum that mentioned that the TDV6 was being dropped because it could not meet new emissions regulations. Also dropped from RRS for 2019 is the SD4 ingenium , the info was slightly vague on whether this was emissions related, though.

Oh i see now. LR could not make the TDV6 meet emission standards so it used detuned SDV6 for EU markets, and it will sell TDV6 on other markets where emission standards are not that hard to meet.
