2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Stornoway Grey

Towing reverse sensors

I towed for the first time with my sport today and when I select reverse when caravan connected the sensors were bleeping
When I towed with my old sport the sensors turned off when caravan was connected
I think the wiring kit is factory as the sockets were plastic filled on reverse where the wires connected
Any ideas please

You need the IID tool to select the correct setting in the file. With the correct setting selected, it will detect a trailer and turn off the rear PDC. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

I have iidtool I think I selected the towing section I will check
Is there something else I need to turn on

There are about 7 tow configure options.
You will have fun finding the correct one. If you could then let the dealers know the correct one.

I have changed the setting from undefined to 13 pin socket and now the sensors don’t bleep when caravan is connected
Strange thing is to enable the sensors after towing I have to switch the ignition off then back on again
