2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Question about Park Assist Warning volume

I've noticed that when reversing (or approaching an obstacle) the warning sound of the Park Assist is barely audible over the sound of the radio. In my Volvo - when Park Assist is activated, the radio volume is muted so that the warning sound dominates. In the RRS, the warning sound's volume seems constant and relatively low and does not mute the radio (or CD or AUX).

Is this normal? 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

Depends how loud you have the radio, I suppose... my PDC beeps still manage to annoy me with the radio set at 15.

Ah, but your bangin choons need volume, Jay - I like to listen to my Radio 2 without my ears bleeding (having spent the past 20 yrs listening to Slayer, my ears are long since busted)
