People on the Velar forum are managing to get over-the-air updates for their infotainment systems. Does anyone know if this is possible on a Dec 16 RRS Autobiography?

My mate has this menu in his RRS now.

Thanks for your reply. Mine only has the first 3 titles in the Settings menu but does have the following screen in the Live menu. Unless the system auto updates I can’t see a way to force it. It is clearly the model prior to the version you show, which I assume is the twin screen model.

Yeah this is the Touch Pro Duo system from MY18 onwards in the RRS and RR and Velar.

Same update system as in the Jaguar I Pace apparently !

Not sure if it will come out for your system or not and I haven't got it on mine yet was a mates car!

I managed to update my MY18 firmware over the air yesterday...the menu screen said updates available - it downloaded them in around 2 mins whilst I was driving..

Wow jimbg, I seem to be missing a whole load of functionality with my version, particularly getting voice control for Navigation.
I have ignored a recall for potential dashboard blackout on the basis that it has always worked fine and I hear of so many fault reports on this forum, but it looks like I should get the update. Thanks!

You are way behind, there was a Phase 3 update in the last quarter of 2017. That can be identified by your 4 x 4 i icon changing to a mountain icon.

That's a shed load of bug fixes and many of them are really basic issues that should have been identified during testing well before release to the public. Good to see that LR's poor QA system is the one constant thing in an ever changing Universe...  2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

My 2018 doesn't have the software update option in settings
