Have you priced it on webuyanycar? That I suppose gives you a ballpark. But if i bought it, it would need to feel like a bargain. Limited appeal to others.

That's a lot of miles on an engine with a known design fault resulting in crankshaft failure........

I think if the crank was going to go it would have done by now at 150k.

Thanks. Is that a real risk? Anything else I should be checking? The car will be around £20k which seems fair given the miles. |

At 20k it will be a cheap motor if & I mean if nothing major goes wrong with it.

Agreed - I had theses concerns with my first 08 TDV8 which had 105k on the clock. Had it 2 yeas and apart from the well discussed screaming handbrake issue I loved it. You could say I got away with it and inmay not be so lucky this time! |

£20k for a 150k mile RRS? I know it's the new version but I paid that sort of money for one 2 years older (the facelifted original) with a 1/3 of that mileage on it (54k miles). Is it really worth £20k? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Probably worth more than that in parts! Except the engine MY16 3.0 SDV6 Autobiography in Aleutian silver, stealth pack and toys. |

I suppose it comes down to personal choice. Having had the old shape TDV8 the chance to own the new shape at that kind of money is tempting. Not without some big risks though! |

£20k is a bargain, even with the mileage! Cheapest on autotrader is one with 107k miles for £32k. A good example here;

Yes looked around and can’t find one for anywhere near the £20k mark. Lot of. We for the money having lost around £60k in 4 years it’s uikely to drop much more for a while!
