Another issue.

My Sport has creaked a little since I`ve owned it, usually crawling over speed bumps or reversing up the drive...but very recently it`s got 100 times worse, to the point it`s just plain embarrassing to drive it. I`m convinced it`s since the wishbones were fitted but that doesn`t really make sense, maybe it`s just me. Is it likely to be some other bushes now? It`s on the front end too by the way. Steve.

I posted a reply to this on another thread as I too have the squeaking suspension. I had it checked by my indi and they said front ARB bushes with surface rust caught up in them. The bushes are fine and don't need replacing but in this very hot weather will squeak and creak.

Last week I was up in the Lake District and we had some rain - squeaking stopped. Back home 85*F squeak is back.

Use a small spray bottle and spray a soapy water mix on to one bush at a time (match left to right) and after a few minutes to soak in, take it for a drive. Does it rattle rather than squeak? Is it only while straight or mainly when cornering? 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Rear hub bushes. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

WD 40 on the ARB bushes sorted mine - see the second part of this post:

I have a theory that the hot weather accentuates the problem (with acknowledgement to LandPhil) Robin

It`s more of a creak and it does it as I`m driving along...constantly. Steve.

Pretty sure it`s coming from the front. Steve.

It`s going into the garage next week to have my suspension issue looked at so I`ll get him to do the WD while it`s there Thumbs Up Steve.

I’d be tempted to put money on it thst it’s the ARB bushes. My squeaking was just the same whilst moving along. The slightest bump would set them off. I reckon that the WD will fix it. Or a good rain storm😀. But not much chance of that for you with Porthmadog being the warmest place in the UK☀️ Robin

I thought you had to be careful with WD40 as it can eventually break the rubber down. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

I wouldn't use oil or WD 40 on the bushes. Get a silicon based lubricant, Halfords do one, that will not harm the rubber.

Thanks for the advice and the tip on WD guys Thumbs Up

I googled it and WD can break down rubber over time. Found it on a boating forum Laughing Steve.

Just been shopping and there wasn't a peep from underneath...not a sound, drove lovely....coming home, about quarter mile away and it started again....sooo annoying. Sounded like the rear this time, god knows. Sounded like a bag of Censored . I'll get some silicone spray and see if that sorts it as suggested. Steve.
