My mate is selling his 3.6 V8...not had a bite and it`s reduced to 9.5k. Maybe it`s the wrong time of year to be selling a 4x4. Try again just before winter maybe. Steve. |

Not a lot, unfortunately. A car is only worth what people are prepared to pay for it. Many of those that have the cash to buy a 10 year old RRS might just decide to borrow a bit more and buy a newer one. Those that can't afford a 10 year old RRS and will have to borrow to do so might worry about potentially expensive repair bills on what was a very expensive car when new. It's a difficult situation. If you can, keeping it until before winter when the demand for 4x4s shoots up might be best. Otherwise, either trade it in or get a quote from WBAC and the like and take it if you can't sell it privately for a bit more within a couple of weeks. RRS MY17 SDV6 AB Evoque MY17 TD4 AB |

If someone is actively looking for a car of your year/spec then yours would jump out as the example to buy with the service history/mileage etc. Unfortunately those people are as rare as the proverbial rocking horse so the greater market will tell you what it's worth and the £7.5K offers are probably closer to what you'll get than the price you want. We buy any car plus about a grand is a reasonable estimate of where you should shoot for privately if my experience is anything to go by. Good luck anyway! |
