Hi Lads

I have had my Removable Towhitch checked by Land Rover with their metal plate gadget and it still appears to be within the limit.

I still feel there is a bit of movement in it at times though ,but don't want to fit a fixed Towbar.

I have been having a look around the Towhitch to try and see if there was any way of fitting a secondary clamp or plate to give double securing of the Towhitch. Possibly from the two eyelets either side of the Towhitch slot.

Just wondering if anyone else has thought about or looked into this.

I use one of these for peace of mind; I too don’t like a fixed tow bar as I like to have ground clearance for off-roading but peace of mind when towing a twin axle caravan. Link below
