Why does the sensor front need removing ? On an upgrade the sensor is moved & placed directly behind the bumper ( it works through plastic ) there is a kit that fits this to the existing front components. 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............

They get jammed up with dirt/snow etc with it on so would think it would be worse without it and all the rain will hit it so i would say refit it if you want it to work correctly |

Anyone know how to turn off the A part? Not safe to use in narrow roadworks lanes. |

If I remember right the button also has a triangle shaped icon with a picture of car in it.

Didn`t know the adaptive bit could be disabled. Why would you use cruise on narrow lanes though? Steve. |

I use cruise on narrow roadworks lanes where there is a camera controlled average speed limit (say 50mph or 40mph) and not much traffic. I’m guessing that adaptive cruise may pick up proximity to bollards etc in those circumstances (don’t have it on my car). |
